Context

In 2023, Boavizta conducted a survey of organizations pursuing responsible digital initiatives to identify the benefits and success factors of these initiatives. One of the findings of this study is the lack of monitoring indicators to observe and measure the return on investment of such an approach. At the same time, the regulatory environment is becoming increasingly stringent for all economic stakeholders, whether or not they belong to the digital sector: in terms of sustainability reporting with the CSRD, in terms of environmental performance with the Energy Efficiency Directive, etc. And various labels, initiatives, and standards are proliferating, without their scope and objectives always being clear.

To contribute to the understanding of this regulatory framework (directives, decrees, laws, etc.) and extra-regulatory framework (labels, voluntary standards, etc.), we have launched a new project focused on an Indicator Framework.

This project's mission is to identify reporting frameworks and their associated indicators, enabling any IT department or digital organization to identify the indicators to monitor (according to the frameworks to which they are subject) and implement them effectively.

In 2024, the Convictions project conducted more than 15 interviews with leaders and Responsible Digital Advisors from more mature companies. Their analysis led to the creation of a new publication (add link).

To support this publication, we invite you to browse the indicators that emerged from these interviews.

Objectives of this deliverable
